A SIPRP foi uma das 79 organizações pioneiras que subscreveram a Carta Portuguesa para a Diversidade, uma iniciativa da União Europeia, e um dos instrumentos voluntários criados com o objetivo de encorajar os empregadores a implementar e desenvolver políticas e práticas internas de promoção da diversidade.

SIPRP has been admitted as a member of APSEI (Portuguese Safety and Security Association) and is part of the recently created NAST (Autonomous Centre for Safety at Work).

The Authority for Labour Conditions (ACT), in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Consumers, has developed a brochure which informs consumers, particularly the younger ones, of the existence of new hazard pictograms, that have different colour and format, and are found on many of the chemical products used in our daily life, such as detergents, paints and varnishes.

On 11 March 2014, SIPRP commemorated ten years since the granting of the first process of authorisation as an Occupational Health and Safety service provider by the then IDICT, nowadays ACT.

DGS (the Directorate-General for Health) granted the application for authorisation submitted by SIPRP for the provision of Occupational Medicine services to companies that exercise activities involving contact with medium and high voltage electric current.
