The Authority for Labour Conditions (ACT), in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Consumers, has developed a brochure which informs consumers, particularly the younger ones, of the existence of new hazard pictograms, that have different colour and format, and are found on many of the chemical products used in our daily life, such as detergents, paints and varnishes.

On 11 March 2014, SIPRP commemorated ten years since the granting of the first process of authorisation as an Occupational Health and Safety service provider by the then IDICT, nowadays ACT.

DGS (the Directorate-General for Health) granted the application for authorisation submitted by SIPRP for the provision of Occupational Medicine services to companies that exercise activities involving contact with medium and high voltage electric current.

SIPRP currently supports Leigos para o Desenvolvimento (Lay Persons for Development), a Non-Governmental Organisation of Cooperation for Development (ONGD), in development projects in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, São Tomé e Príncipe and Timor, which operates in the area of formal, non-formal and informal training, in the area of Community Motivation and Organisation, Education and Training, Entrepreneurship and Employability, Capacity-Building and Empowerment of Local Agents, Promotion of Voluntary and Pastoral Services.
